About me
I am a qualified psychotherapist and yoga teacher in Kinvara, Co. Galway.
My journey: For many years I had been working as a yoga teacher and yoga therapist, when a traumatic event turned my world upside down. The support I received in therapy helped me navigate this deeply challenging time and ultimately set me on the path to becoming a therapist myself.
How I work: I offer a compassionate, collaborative approach to therapy, creating a safe and supportive space where you can explore life's challenges, deepen self-understanding, and cultivate lasting wellbeing.
I’m deeply interested in how wellness in the mind affects physical wellbeing and vice versa. I often incorporate somatic and mindfulness techniques, which can help to improve nervous system regulation and manage stress and anxiety.
My practice is grounded in a person-centred approach, with a strong emphasis on empathy, authenticity, and respect for each client's unique experience.
My experience in parenting a neurodivergent person has given me insight into the challenges faced by the neurodivergent population in our neurotypical society. For this reason, I am passionate about providing a style of therapy which is accessible and effective for all neurotypes.
